About Me

Welcome! I’m Amy, a Bay Area native with a passion for politics and human rights. I studied political science & international studies at the University of California, Irvine, and I plan to pursue my master’s degree in human rights. I’ve worked in the nonprofit field for three years and I spent 2019 in Bogotá, Colombia as a Volunteer ESL Instructor with Enseña por Colombia. I’m currently working for a nonprofit organization in San Francisco.

Things that make me happy include true crime documentaries, all things outdoors, traveling to off-the-beaten-track places, listening to my vinyl collection, and telling you why we should have elected Bernie Sanders as the 2020 Dem nominee.
